One List to Rule Them All
How cool is it that the Amazon Wish List has gone Universal? Meaning just this: that you can add your favorite needful things from ANY site. Woohoo!

It makes my consumer whore of a heart all giddy like.

Ups and Downs

Thumbs Up:

  • SkinM.I.L.K. Cookies 'n Cream shampoo/body wash for kids. It smells super yummy, is made with 5% milk proteins, and 5% of the proceeds go to Heifer International, my favorite charitable organization. Plus, how cute is Winifred the Cow?
  • WALL-E. I am almost convinced that Pixar can do no wrong.
  • Dr. Horrible (!!!) My like for Neil Patrick Harris has bloomed into full-on adoration.
  • Fail Blog. Oh, my.
  • Anything Alexia. All-natural frozen stuff; the oven fries and artisan rolls are delicious, and make kitchen life so much easier. And kids will happily eat their sweet potatoes.

  • Thumbs Down:

  • Batter Blaster. Sorry! The cakes are completely without fluff, the taste is meh, and you can't draw the shapes that you'd think would be possible.

    SquEEEEEEEEEE!
Joss Whedon. Nathan Fillion. Neil Patrick Harris.

Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. A three-part musical coming to a computer near you, starting July 15th.

    It's No Schulz, But...
Tim has been using Bitstrips to make blog comics for awhile. I thought I might try it out, too, and after an initial day of technical difficulties, this is what I ended up with.

    D. says that his little fake dude isn't a good enough representation, but, in my defense, the component libraries are pretty limited!

    Round and Round
Hey, look! A post! Because you deserve it. And also because D. keeps making fun of me.

Earlier we were bored. So I used up an entire stick of sidewalk chalk to make a labyrinth, posted on Kiddley a few months ago, in the driveway. Totally worth it! The neighbors are envious -- I could tell when I was (most inadvisably) up on the garage roof getting more photos (which, now mastered, opens up whole new UNIVERSES of Halloween decorating options).
