This is our temporary baby, Hedwig. Sorry for the terrible shot - our camera doesn't handle closeups well, and the zoom is only digital, and he's, well - tiny!. We believe he's a barn swallow, though it's difficult to tell with any accuracy at this age. He can fly across a room. Sort of.
