almost famous
I was digging through some ancient history this morning, and stumbled upon some old newspaper clippings. Oh, how I laughed...

Just a little grab bag of pre-pubescent geek-apades. First is a Youth Chorus shot - I was in eighth grade, and that was probably the most fun I had in junior high. Second's a big Milwaukee "city pride" parade our elementary school got to march in (I think I was in third or fourth grade at the time). And the last two are shots of Becky D. and I participating in the National History Day competition - we were finalists, but sadly couldn't swing the trip to Lansing to move ahead.

Guess those were my fifteen minutes of fame...
