Further justification for the caffeine addiction
I'm always on the look out for interesting things to brighten up my garden, so these Coffee Packet Plant Pots really caught my eye.
They also reminded me of an article I read a few years ago, before I had a garden, about someone using old paint tins, juice cartons, and even dolls heads with the tops cut off as plant pots.
The dolls heads were a bit too freaky for me, but I might try the other ideas.

Not Recycling, But...
...I'm loving Pear Dishmate by Earth Friendly Products so very much, I just had to rave about it. Just four non-polluting ingredients - water, coconut oil derived surfacants, salt, and pear oil! It works so well, smells absolutely delicious, and isn't nearly as hard on my hands as even my old Ivory was.

Far Flung, Far Out
Care of ReadyMade, a lamp shade made up of picture slides. Now I know what to do with all those old vacation slides...

Ah, By the Way...
We have a new team member, if you hadn't noticed! Everybody, meet Celeste, a crafty British recycler. Welcome!
Sorry I'm a bit slow on the intro [and every other type of] uptake lately. We'll just chalk it up to my all-too-swiftly approaching dive into the true mid-thirties.

Doing Hard Time
A how-to on making a clock out of a hard drive.
From the how-to:
Have an old hard drive that no longer works? As long as it still spins up chances are you could build a clock out of your old hard drive! You will need some electronic knowledge, some common electronic components and a bit of patience. The clock that is produced isn’t exactly practical since most hard drives (especially older ones) are too loud for a clock that is to operate 24 hours a day.
